There is the end of the first Autumn of the new century and new millennium. There first snow flakes of the first snow dance behind my window. There have been no interesting ufological events in Poland since the Summer season of the crop pictograms, which had been examined by our teams. Of course, our Center received and registered information about some incidents with UFOs and other phenomena, however they had been seen by people in previous years and had been too old.

I registered some news from Scandinavia and America about the most beautiful polar auras, which had been seen there. And also about the cross drown onto the Moon, which was noticed in Finland in the nights 7/8 and 8/9 November 2001.

The only one interesting thing occurred in the night on Oct. 10^th, when my wife and me were observing a strange light, which had tracked the ISS Alpha. Its trajectory was very strange. It went on the zigzag course a few minutes behind the ISS.

The situation has changed sharply in the third week of November. In the night on Nov. 17^th, at about 23:00 hrs, two ladies: Mrs. Kazimiera J. and Mrs. Anna L. of Jordanów during a quarter watched for a star-like UFO, which hung above S-SE horizon on an altitude of 30^o. That "star" disappeared as quick as it had appeared in 15 minutes.

In some hours later, on Nov. 18^th, at 00:55 hrs, one witness Mr. Adam L. noticed a strange spectacle through his bathroom window. There were five flying saucers, which flew across the sky from East to West in a W or M-shaped formation. Three UFOs went on the southern side of the sky and two on the northern one. They moved very slowly towards the Mt. Babia Góra peak. They emitted a milky-white light with pink flashes. Their diameters were comparable with the Moon’s one! The witness informed me about that NL-sighting in the next day.

Third UFO-event was taking its place on Nov. 18^th, at 06:53 hrs, when I had an occasion to watch another star-like spot of white, bright light, which had moved from the bearing 300^o towards bearing 120^o. Its brightness was very high, circa -2^m.00, which become to weak, when the NL had been approaching to a horizon line. I watched that NL during 30-40 seconds.

In the Sunday, I sent e-mail with information about the NLs had seen in Jordanów to the Center branches in Cracow, Miechów and Ropczyce. Moreover I informed also my friends and the Center’s collaborators in the Upper Silesia. In the Monday, I received two answers from Mr. Stanisław Sawkiewicz of Bytom, who had suggested to me that I had watched the ISS Alpha space station; and Mr. Marcin Mioduszewski of Cracow, who had informed us that he had taken the information from Dr. Tadeusz Filar Ph.D., who had watched two strange green flares with red central spots nearby the town of Przemyśl in the night on Nov. 17^th .

I was analysing the first observation and I came to a conclusion that the both ladies had been in the able to see bright stars like: Sirius (α Canis Maioris) or Rigel (β Orionis), however they had not been on the position, where two ladies had watched the NL. They add that that "star" had been very bright and twinkled aperiodically with green, blue and red light.

The morning object seen by me could be the ISS Alpha space station. But in the time there was no that space station above Jordanów. I think that it could be the UOO, which had gone on the same orbit as the ISS Alpha one… We watched the UOOs a lot of times during the Russian Mir space station had passed above Poland. Those cases are well documented.

The Mr. Tadeusz Filar’s information we recognized as "explained", because in that night and the next one, we had watched a shower of the meteorites belonging to the Leonides swarm, which always fell down from a spot in the sky of the RA = 10^h09^m, DEC = +22^o12’. A period of theirs maximal activity is exactly on Nov. 17^th, at 06:30 GMT! Its intensity is very high - always 14,000 meteors on hour, but for example in Japan people witnessed almost 20,000 meteors on hour in this year! The NASA cancelled the all space-shuttle flights, because Americans are afraid for the astronauts and commercial satellites safe. The ISS Alpha was exposed on the "cosmical cannon fire" remains of the 1866 I Tempel-Tuttle comet, which made the Leonides swarm. Its "cosmical missiles" move with a very high speed of 72 km/s! They are the quickest meteors in the Solar System! Their entries into the Earth’s atmosphere are so spectacular because off their high velocity. On Nov. 19^th, I called to a radioman of the Polish Radio One - Mr. Andrzej Zalewski, who lead the most popular weather and environmential radio broadcast Eko Radio - who quickly informed me about the great meteor shower seen above Alaska, Canada, Pacific Ocean, Japan, China, Australia and other countries. But we came to a conclusion immediately, that that event could make a heavy rain and snow falls on the whole world, because an increase of the number of the cosmical dust in the earth’s atmosphere. It came true in a few next days after! We have had a heavy blizzard for three days! A layer of snow is 0,5 m thick...

The Leonides were also watched in Poland by professional and unprofessional astronomers from the Jagiellonian University and the Academy of Mining and Metallurgy in Cracow, who had registered their activity on a level of the 60 meteors on hour, in the early morning on Now. 18^th. Unfortunately, this shower can not explain the "white flying saucers", which were seen by Mr. Adam L. of Jordanów, shortly after a midnight of the same day. They were quite different from the all "rockets", "flares" and "fireworks" had seen in Australia, Japan and Poland. The only one explanation, which can explain something is that that they were extra-secret Russian, American or Chinese planes. The ultimate explanation is that they were the classical UFOs belonging to Aliens: ALFs, EBEs, or Extra-Terrestials, the Sky-People… There is no the third way!

On Nov. 20^th, I got an e-mail from Mr. Robert Bernatowicz of Warsaw. He informed me about a very strange event, which had taken its place on Nov. 14^th, 2001 at 17:30-18:00 hrs in Tarchomin near Warsaw. It was a confirmation of the Kazimiera J. and Anna L.’s relations about the star-like NL seen in Jordanów on Nov. 17^th. In that case, witnesses firstly were noticing one pulsing red light, which suddenly started to change colors to blue and green and red one again. Next the light begun to flow on the zigzag course, apparently as it looked for something on the ground. It changed its altitude from time to time. The witnesses were surprised, how it has been possible to flow above Warsaw without a permission…

Suddenly, there appeared another bright "star" in the sky. It started to "twinkle" with colors! But the NL did not move. After a minute, the NL started to move with zigzag course, like this first one. In the next minute, the third "star" started to "twinkle" and move! The three NLs flow 20-25^o above the horizon, on a bearing 120-135^o. They moved away very slowly, and finally vanished behind trees. The shocked witnesses have not known, what it was really.

I think that they were the ordinary UFOs in the NL form. They could not be meteors, because there are not meteors, which can move on the zigzag course, twinkle with many colors and hang into the air, like helicopters do. They could not be helos, because the witnesses did not hear any their motors noise.

Another strange story told me my Slovakian friend Dr. Miloš Jesenský V.D. of Krasno nad Kysucou (Slovakia), during our business meeting in Kral’ovany, on Nov. 24^th. In the night of Nov. 17^th, there were seen two UFOs above the Krasno nad Kysucou town. One of them went from East to West, and another one felt down from the sky and landed on atop of the one of the heels, which surround that town. After its landing, the UFO disappeared. Dr. Jesenský researches that case now, and we wait for his report.

On Nov. 22^nd, the PAP news agency published its story about a strange "rocket-like object", which had fallen down from the skies into waters of the South China Sea. According to the Japan news agency Kyodo, which released that story quoted by the PAP, the Japan Ministry of Defense got a news from the American Army that it could be a rocket missile had fired by South Koreans. The source said that "that object was not dangerous". The MoD spokesman did not confirmed this information. Of course, it could be the Korean or American MRBM or even communistic Korean Taepo-Dong 5 ICBM. But I am convinced that it was some meteorite of the Leonides swarm…

The another story I heart from my friend Mrs. Iza K. and her brother Paweł K., who had watched a very bright bolide, which had crossed the night sky in Jordanów, on Nov. 6^th, at 18:30 hrs.

In the next month, in Belgium took its place the UFO-wave. Some people witnessed overflights of the strange cylinder and two yellow BOLs above that country and the northern France. On Dec. 6^th, Dr. Tadeusz Filar watched two yellow balls and the dark triangle between them nearby Cracow in Poland!

The last Polish UFO-sighting of the 2001 we marked in Ropczyce, where Mr. Arkadiusz Miazga with his girl-friend witnessed two strange white-yellow BOLs, which crossed the sky at a great velocity, on Dec. 25^th, at 19:00 hrs. We are sure that those events have had connections with the Belgian ones.

It is necessary to add that there is an unusual connection between the meteor showers and the UFO-sightings. I’d like to remain an event, which occurred on May 6^th, 2000 - when many people had seen a meteorite - aka the "Beskidy Meteorite" in the astronomical literature - and some of them the Daylight Object. The UFO was seen in the all southern provinces of Poland: from the Lower Silesia to the Little Poland. At that time, our planet was “bombed” by meteorites from five showers: μ-Virginides, α-Bootides, α-Scorpides, φ-Bootides and η-Aquarides. It means that that meteorite “gun fire” was almost as intensive as this one in the November 2001…

The all collected facts point this, that the UFOs are connected with the "stones from heavens" or - as like some astronomers, like f. ex. Mr. Roman Rzepka of Giżycko - state that there exist meteors, which have quite different physical and chemical properties from the cosmical bodies known to us. Such classical examples of them are the Tunguska Meteorite on Jun. 30^th, 1908 or Jerzmanowice Meteorite on Jan. 14^th, 1993. NB, his son watched an odd meteorite - or bolide - which had passed through the sky from N to S and disappeared mysteriously without any explosion, like an ordinary bolide does… It changed its colors from bright red to light green. No-one could explain, what it really was - perhaps it could be a stage of the rocket or an old satellite, however at that time it had not been any earth-made object there…

My theory is very simply: at the time of an intense meteor rains, which attack our planet, the UFOs come into the Earth’s atmosphere to avoid a risk of the crash with a meteor. It means that the UFOs are not so meteor-proof as we think about them… And thanks this, we can see them more frequently, than usually. But my theory can be verified only, when we shall be in the able to examine and test the UFO’s construction… It looks that it is not so solid and it can be destroyed by meteors, which flow with a great speed, between 30 and 80 and more km/s!
