UFOs RETURN TO SICILY
After the first clamorous sighting of the last 6th august in Ummari (TP), which involved the military base of Birgi for a "flying disk", noticed and filmed by several citizen of Trapani, the same event happened in Canicatti' (AG), where four boys in a car driving, towards Agrigento, saw and filmed an ufo, the first march evening.
The news was revealed just now, after that the Lombardia section of the Italy's National UFO Center examined the film and judged it reliable.
"I was in my car with three friends of mine", says David Difazio, a 27 years old publicist journalist, who was able to film the UFO for some minute "when suddenly my attention was attracted by a strange luminous object in the sky, in West direction .
Deeply impressed by the extraordinary event, I ran to my house, took my video camera and filmed it all".
In the film appears a whitish disc standing over Canicatti's hills, which slowly crosses a cloud and comes down to earth disappearing behind the horizon.
"I was very impressed by the event and above all by the object, which had been still in the sky for some minutes", David says. "Then, I spoke to the ufologic Centre in order to verify if what we had seen and recorded was effectively an ufo…".
The film has attracted also the attention of the Italian television.
Aalfredo Lissoni, responsible in Milan of the Italy's National UFO Center for Lombardia, comments about the film : "The video is authentic and there is no trace of manipulation. The filmed object is not conventional at all and it is totally unidentify.
The computerized analysis shows an oval object emanating a powerful luminous circular crown which makes a hole in the surrounding sky and suddenly shoots a bundle of light to the ground. The interesting fact is that the same object was recently seen, showing the same characteristics, near the city of Novara, in a town called Gozzano. The development of the images, analized with a software that allowed us to get the image from 266 kb to 70 mega without losing definition, let us exclude that the ufo is a conventional body like an baloon, an airplane, or a star."
Difazio says: "First I felt curiosity and astonishment; then, after seeing the object magnified by the zoom of the video camera (a JVC dvl 9500 with zoom of 200x), my feelings turned to euphoria, fear and scepticism. Later, thinking about this experience I realised I had filmed something unconventional. I had a look in the internet and I noticed all the other similar experiences recorded in my island, Sicily and I thought I had not been the only privileged...".
